Within the IMPULSE project we aim to update and expand our service offerings with emerging technologies, improve service quality and data accessibility, broaden our user base, and ensure financial sustainability. IMPULSE focuses on four key areas:

  1. Enhancing Service Catalogue: Integrating AI/ML, advanced disease models, genetic approaches, and novel chemical targeting methods to develop potent compounds for research and applications in pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors.

  2. Improving Standards: Implementing operational and data standards across partner sites to enhance reproducibility and data accessibility, complemented by staff training and user feedback for optimal service delivery.

  3. Community Engagement: Promoting new services to attract academia and industry, expanding our research infrastructure's relevance and trustworthiness through harmonized standards and valuable data sets generated by advanced technologies.

  4. Ensuring Sustainability: Enlarging the funding base by engaging additional ERIC member countries, fostering partnerships across research infrastructures and with stakeholders, and developing innovative funding models for sustainable drug discovery.
